Matt Starr has more than six years of advising experience in higher education, actively identifying and resolving student needs as quickly and effectively as possible. As an Admissions Counselor for the online M.Eng. in Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance degree program, Matt proactively reaches out to new and future students to help them through the admissions process and aid them throughout their time as a student at the George Washington University. He is passionate about the benefits of education for both individuals and their communities. Matt holds a Master of Arts in National Security Studies from American Military University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Lewis University.

Admissions Counselor, Online M.Eng. in Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance

Joseph Simmons has 10 years of advising experience in higher education, specifically for online degree programs. He is passionate about assisting students through the admissions process in order to achieve their academic goals. As an Admissions Counselor for online engineering degree programs, Joseph is dedicated to communicating with new and future students to answer questions about the program offerings. He also provides additional information to assist students through the George Washington University admissions process. Joseph holds a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Morehouse College.
