Veterans and Active Military

Our engineering programs rank as some of the best in the country for veterans for a reason. Our Office of Military and Veteran Student Services is committed to providing student veterans, their dependents, and military personnel with both student support and administrative services.

Yellow Ribbon Program

Our participation in the Yellow Ribbon Program allows us to partner with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to fund tuition expenses that exceed the maximum base pay amount for students that are:

  • 100% eligible for the Post 9/11 GI Bill
  • On a degree plan
  • No longer on active duty
  • Not a spouse of an active duty servicemember

The Yellow Ribbon Program allows active servicemembers and veterans to utilize funds to cover expenses outside of their own tuition, including:

  • A living allowance
  • Money for books
  • Transfer of unused benefits to spouse/children
